A Word from Tia Ciferno, The Director of Bella
Hello!
I'm the director of Bella in Trumbull County, OH. Since our beginning it's been a joy to see the enthusiasm and the miracles along the way as God provides.
Our mission at Bella is to erase abortion through effectively serving the at-risk pregnant woman by transforming her fears into confidence. Our core values are accountability, relevance and a fighting spirit. We are vibrantly pro-life and we are part of a national network of pregnancy centers whose goal is to educate and medically serve women who think abortion is their only answer to an unplanned pregnancy.
The medical tests (pregnancy tests, ultrasound and STI testing) and professional approach we offer meet a definite need each of our patients has for the verification and dating of her pregnancy- and we become her first stop- and many times her last- circumventing an abortion appointment and saving that baby.
Patients who come to Bella, are served by trained RNs, sonographers and counselors, experience the incredible miracle of unborn life on the ultrasound screen and are respected and educated with no manipulation- because of this, many of our patients finally feel empowered to carry their babies and parent or make an adoption plan. Since opening as a medical clinic 2 1/2 years ago, we are celebrating 204 babies who were at risk for abortion but are now safe.
Bella's goal is to serve in our own community, but also to replicate our model through a vision called "Project Multiply"- by coaching and equipping other centers.
We receive NO government funding, but are entirely financed through the generosity of local pro-life individuals, churches and businesses who believe women deserve better than abortion.
